The suite is built on Microsoft .NET, ASP and SQL platforms. Publishnow SDK (Software Development Kit) is a library of web methods to control all the functions including authentication, template search and selection, document editing, approvals, order and delivery.
Flex Ad builder
Flex Ad builder allows WYIWYG and interactive editing of the ad based on rules setup in the template. Ad templates are designed in InDesign and are fully editable on the web using a proprietary page definition language.
Print Rendering Engine
The Brandmark print-rendering engine is based on Adobe InDesign CS4 and integrated integrated with a Queue Manager and web services to build print-ready artwork. Mediawide CS4 server plug-ins support non-proportionate artwork re-sizing, layout changes based on content flow and building different document types like display advertisements, composite advertisements, multi-product flyers and print collaterals. A seamless interface with DAM executes the use of low-resolution images for proofing and high-resolution variants for final delivery.
Final PDF for delivery can embed the ICC profile and use the configured PDF style based on the print device being printed.
